We have experience of searching many historical databases which include  Ancestry UK, USA and Canada, Find-My-Past UK and Australia, Scotlands People, the National Archives, IrishGenealogy.ie, Shetland and Caribbean specific sites. 

We find your ancestors and also their brothers and sisters, giving you the option to discover present day cousins. 

Genealogical Investigations

Elizabeth has been doing genealogy for over 40 years, both researching her own family history and for friends and colleagues.

She originally studied as a mathematician at Cambridge university and finds it useful to apply logic when combining multiple data sources to solve tricky puzzles from the past.

Images and Music

A key feature of the service is the regular updates with Zoom calls so you can see the evidence of your ancestors occupations and locations. We tell their stories, such as women who ran the family business, and children who started in the workhouse, and ended up earning military honours.

We can provide bespoke services to digitise photos, produce family trees in other languages, and animate the timeline with video and music. 

Throughout the process you have access to an online tree and at the end of the project we provide a report with details of your ancestors and a chart which can be printed or digitised.
